Weir Farm Residency Artwork
This artwork was created in November 2002, during an artistic residency at the Weir Farm Trust in Wilton, CT. The leaves and acorns are real, gathered outside the studio provided by the Trust. I was deeply inspired by the change of seasons, an experience intensified by the remote location, and the natural beauty of the park and surrounding trails. The artwork reflects impressions of a time spent quietly contemplating the inexorable progression of the seasons.
